Charlie Graham, unofficial Club historian  

 

February 12, 1921

A few community leaders met with a representative from Kiwanis International to organize a Rochester Kiwanis Club.

February 21, 1921

The first regular luncheon meeting was held at the Hotel Zumbro. 106 members and prospective members were present. The following officers were elected for a one year term: Dr. A.W. Adson, President; Walter Caustin, Vice Pres.; Horace Doty, Treasurer; and Allen J. Furlow, Secretary. The newly named directors were Lester Fiegel,Mr. Harwick, Mr. Kahler, Mr. Sherman, Mr. Hackett, Mr. Withers, and Dr. Berkman.

April 15, 1921

The official charter was presented to the Rochester Organization. There were 128 names on the Charter Roll.Charlie Hill working at Pancake Breakfast. He has 62 years of Perfect Attendance!
